This establishment almost makes me enjoy going to the dentist. I’ve been with Jaclyn for years and I love her, and her team. Everyone is pleasant, personable, and really good at their job. I’ve had dental as well as periodontal work done here. I believe they also have an Endontist. The specialists only work in-office a couple of days a month, but the communication and collaboration between the team as a whole is phenomenal as someone who has had a lifetime of ongoing dental/periodontal/general mouth issues that they have helped me address. Their team is also very compassionate and understanding. Prior to my first visit with them, there was a stretch of time I couldn’t prioritize/afford regular dental cleanings which made me feel kind guilty/ashamed. I just explained that to them, and they never made me feel bad about it (like previous dentists/providers I have had) re: the state of my oral health. Even the hygienists are personable and offer soft reminders of ways I can improve my dental health that I want to follow because they actually seem like they care. There was a different period of time where I lost my insurance for a couple of months after regular cleanings with them. Once I was insured and able to make an appointment with them again, their office manager Samantha (who is INCREDIBLE) remembered who I was when I walked through the door. She empathized with my situation, and always remembers who I am. She is the ONLY health professional I’ve ever met who clearly explains & breaks down EXACTLY what I am paying out of pocket VS what is covered by my insurance. I’m talking down to every line item (I wish all health providers did this). If they offer a service that isn’t covered by insurance (but will probably help in the long run), there’s no pressure to pay more and no price gouging. Anyways, 10/10 I can not recommend enough.

My first visit to this office was earlier this year when I had a dental emergency, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Ligon and the team got me in right away and took such great care of me. I’ve had bad experiences with other dentists in the past, but I’m so glad I found this place. Everyone is friendly, patient, and welcoming. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you’re comfortable throughout the entire visit. The office is clean, modern, and everything always feels easy and well-organized. I actually look forward to my appointments now—highly recommend Maryland Parkway Smiles Dentistry!

Had a great experience with this Dentist practice. Dr. Ligon is so knowledgeable and is attentive to your questions and concerns gentle also. Angela the Hygenist was also very knowledgeable and gentle. Great check up and a great cleaning. I’ll definitely be coming back.
